Sorry mates, but I spend most of my time either offline, or on Face Book.

Anyway, I have some news for those of you that haven't heard, I was accepted as a full member of the Journymen Company cast at the New York Renaissance Faire.

I will be playing, "Sir William St Loe, Captain of the Queen's Bodyguard of the Yeomen of the Guard", aka a "Beefeater" in the employ of Queen Elizabeth I.

I had auditioned as my usual piratical self, but the Director of the Company had other plans for me and he really doesn't like pirates either. He's been trying to get me do other roles for a while now and since I am a full member of the Co. this season, I don't choose the role I play, he does. Thats fine though. I like the challange and this looks like it's going to be a ton of fun.

That means Macko will not be at the faire, I will be, but he won't. He's going to be stuck on the ship making heavy repairs and refits after a long and fruitful "trading" mission. So if you see me and you call me Macko, I will not know who you are talking about and think you are trying to pick a fight with me. heheheh. :D

Other news just to catch you all up. I recently played, Captain Maco Castleton at this past Hudson Valley Mayfaire. A Corsair that was captured by a Siren and transported to the Beltaine event as a diversion for the Fae Royals and their Court. It was a Street theater / Improv part for the event.

I am also a part-time student of En Garde Entertainment in their stage combat school. We  just did their first "Student fight showcase" in NYC. We did 4 shows in a "Black Box" theater in the East Village. I played a Buccaneer Pirate Captain and fought a "Swashbuckling" Pirate Captain. My character dies at the end, bugger. :)I'm waiting on pictures. Hopefully they will come out soon. All 4 shows were sold out and everyone had a great time.

So, to make another long post, even longer, come see me at NYRF. NYFR runs from Aug. 1st, to Sept. 20th, including Labor Day Monday.

I don't know who it was that turned my pipe into the office at the end of the day, but thank you to you as well.

I was fully prepared to never see it again, seeing that it is a unique, one of a kind, pipe. Here it is 3 days later and I'm still stunned that it came back to me, on a day when the faire was PACKED.
